 I don't know which company James is working with, but since Wright Patterson Air Force Base is the largest single site employer in the state of Ohio, you know it's with one of the hundreds, if not thousands, of companies that have contracts with the base.  With all that going on, switching companies because of contracts ending and beginning is normal.  Make sure you have UP-TO-DATE photos for your LinkedIn, social media, etc.  Everyone knows, if your headshot is 20 years old, they're gonna wonder what happened.  Be honest.  Be Confident.  Be Approachable.  Be Experienced, but still willing to learn.  You'll be fine. :)
